Cipher have written original scores to classic silent films which have been performed live in cinemas around the UK. Their unique and experimental soundworld, incorporating dark, ambient layers of live flutes, saxophone and bass are perfectly suited to some of the expressionist early cinema classics.

Cipher are touring their new score to the silent classic 1925 film version of 'The Phantom of the Opera' from March-May 2008.
